HTML Arcade uses no frameworks, no bundlers, and no build steps. Everything — game logic, styles, audio, and animations — is written in vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Music and sound effects are generated entirely by the Web Audio API — no audio files to load. Canvas games use the Canvas 2D API for rendering. The maze generator uses recursive backtracking. The Sudoku generator uses constraint-based backtracking.
Yes. After your first visit, the service worker caches the entire file. You can turn off WiFi and all 20 games still work perfectly — no internet required.
